Linear program models are an important part of the scheduling and blend optimisation process. The calculations are too complex to optimise manually and spreadsheets backed up with optimisation routines are in general use. 

ColdFlowLP.xlsm is set-up with the predicted 95% and 20% distillation points of the blends in the LP model as constraints. This enables blend formulations to be calculated to a profit objective and the distillation width used to keep the blends feasible for Cold Flow.
